WELCOME
Volunteer Park Cafe was once considered Seattle’s best kept secret, and that was just the way the loyal neighborhood liked it, all to themselves — and then one fateful day, The Stranger dubbed VPC "Heaven on the Hill," and this quintessential neighborhood meeting place quickly became a favorite of many Seattleites — whether dropping by for a morning coffee, lunch with a friend, an afternoon cookie with the kids, or a leisurely dinner with your sweetie, VPC fulfills all the culinary desires of the neighborhood and beyond.
At VPC, all of life's little moments are important, and the cafe strives to make those authentic moments delicious memories. The cafe uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create food that is delicious home-style goodness. House made pastries, savory and sweet, and a selection of fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches provide daytime provisions ordered at the counter. As the light dims and the candles are lit, table service begins and guests cozy in under vintage chandeliers to experience the rustic ever-changing menu of seasonal offerings…the dinner menu focuses on braised meats, fresh fish, artisan pizzas, home spun dishes, and seasonal salads.
With a friendly staff, throw pillows tossed along banquets, and a beautiful communal table running the length of this inviting room full of old school charm, VPC is the perfect place to spend time.
A thoughtful selection of boutique wines is available to enjoy at the cafe or to take home. The cafe is also happy to provide full meals to go.
Don’t miss out on any of VPC's news — monthly wine dinners, special events, the return of favorite menu items, neighborhood parties.
